Here are some helpful ways to get alternative explanation and practice for math.
This guy has done an amazing job presenting concepts in a clear and interesting way. The videos are free. I have no experience with his subscription based exercises and worksheets, but they may be helpful and are very inexpensive.
This is a standards based subscription service that provides limitless practice on a comprehensive set of skills. It's pretty amazing and does a great job giving variety and targeted work. There's not really explanation, but there are sample problems. We have used it before and it's not too expensive.
These videos are provided by the lady that produced Math Mammoth. She walks through the concepts and does examples. It may be helpful to see her. She is clear but probably less engaging than the Math Antics guy.
